1 PACBIO_SMRT (PacBio RS II) run: 144,249 spots, 444.3M bases, 291.6Mb downloads

Submitted by: Genome Information Research Center of RIMD in Osaka University (GIRC)
Study: whole genome sequence, Clostridium botulinum type B strain 111
show Abstracthide Abstract
we determined the whole genome sequence of Clostridium botulinum type B strain 111. Clostridium botulinum is a Gram-positive, spore-forming, anaerobic, rod-shaped bacterium that produces botulinum neurotoxins that cause serious paralytic illness known as 'botulism'. Strain 111 was isolated from the first case of type B infant botulism in Japan, 1995.
Sample: whole genome sequence, C. botulinum type B strain 111
